Sirenia's Journal Chapter 1
"I can't believe it can't find the platform!" I said to myself. My parents had dropped me off at the train station twenty minutes ago to go to Hogwarts and I couldn't find anything indicating that the Hogwarts Express would stop here! I closed my eyes remembering what my mum had said.
"Now, just do what the letter says Sirenia." My mother told me.
"I will mum." I said to her giving her a hug. With a final wave of my hand I went through the revolving doors of the train station pulling my luggage cart behind me. I opened my eyes to the whistle of train 105 as it pulled out of the station. I quickly opened the letter given to me by the Headmistress of Hogwarts:

I sighed and put the letter down, it said nothing about when the train was supposed to arrive except on September 1 which it was. I looked at the clock, it was nearly noon. To pass the time I decided to name the people that were going from platform to platform. Suddenly, I noticed a particularly large family walking down the platform, I stood up and began to trail after them from a distance.
"Come on Percy, you first." A tired mother said. As I watched one of the more taller boys began walking towards a wall, then he ran forward. I squeezed my eyes shut, I didn't want to see him get smashed against the wall. To my surprise, I only heard the people walking and talking around me. I opened one eye to see that the boy was gone.
"Fred, you next." The mother said to the next boy who was much shorter. The other boy walked towards the wall. I kept my eyes open this time to see where he would go. He charged forward and disappeared through the wall. I stood there mouth agape. The mother saw me.
"Oh, another new student!" She said smiling. I stood there glued to the spot.
"Hello dear! What's your name?" She said.
"Sirenia." I said with my eyes still glued to the wall. Looking puzzled the mother turned to where I was looking.
"Oh, that is the way to the Hogwarts train." She said pointing towards the wall that the two boys had gone through.
"How do you get through?" I said stepping towards the short woman.
"Oh, you simply run into the wall, you may want to do it in a run if your nervous." She said. Then she called for another boy.
"This is George, he'll show you an example of how to get to the Hogwarts platform." He began to walk to the wall as the others had. I could've sworn he winked at me when he passed. Then he ran into the wall.
"Sirenia, would you like to go next?" She asked. I replied by slowly moving to face the wall. I stood there staring at the bricks.
"Go on dear, it's not as bad as you think." She said gesturing to the wall. I clenched my teeth and ran towards the wall squeezing my eyes shut.
