       Chapter 3 part 1
Free Myself by Breaking these Chains

Loki smiled at their dumbfounded expressions and quickly opened the sealed door. Fiona was the first to step out, feeling the cool air on her skin as she stretched her arms out. Loki rolled his eyes at the young elf as Aegner walked out carefully, his eyes scanning for any guards.
“She doesn’t look well...” Loki commented softly when he saw Ana still unresponsive as Tuomas picked her up.
“The healers not have helped?” Tuomas asked desperately.  Loki stared at the young girl for one moment before giving Tuomas a somber expression.
“She’s dying.” He murmured, stroking the girls bony cheek as her eyes opened halfway, revealing her usually white eyes to be tinted pink.
“What’s wrong with me?” Ana asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Obviously she had not heard the recent news.
Fiona bit her lip as she stood beside Tuomas, Loki and Aegner.
“We have to go.” Loki murmured after a moment as he stood up. “The Allfather will not detect you until Heimdall sends you home.”
Fiona grabbed Lokis arm.
“Not a chance... Mab is still out to kill the Allfather!” Fiona cried before Loki shook her hand off him.
“Its not safe for you anymore, if Odin suspects you for treason your punishment will be severe.” Loki replied.
“I don’t care. Take Ana and Aegner home, but I want to make sure Mab is caught.” Fiona said darkly.
“If you stay... I’m staying.” Tuomas said sharply, causing Fionas heart to beat erratically.
“What about Ana?” Aegner asked.
“She’ll be fine, here...” Tuomas said softly as Loki took Ana from him and held her bridal style. Ana did not say anything.
“The Troll may have poisoned her when its club struck her.” Aegner hissed.
‘What do you mean?” Tuomas inquired.
“If I am right, trolls never clean their weapons... there would be enough filth and blood on it to choke a Minotaur.” Aegner muttered. Fionas hand went over her mouth when she saw the bandages along Anas shoulder were a dark mark was slowly growing from beneath the bandages. The infection was spreading.
“I’ll be alright...” Ana said softly. “My magic will heal me.” She added.
“We must go before the guards find us!” Loki murmured as he turned towards the exit and began to stride towards it, Aegner, Tuomas and Fiona following him like children.
Suddenly there was a shadow ahead, barring their way out.
“What are you doing with the prisoners, brother?”
“The same thing you’ve been wanting to do, brother.” Loki replied darkly. “And instead of merely standing by and considering, I went ahead and got to work.” Thor watched our gaze for one moment before looking over his shoulder.
“Go.” He murmured.
“Take Fiona and hide her, she chooses to remain along with the siren-boy.” Loki said shoving Fiona and Tuomas towards his elder brother. “I will hide the elf and take Ana to a healer whom I trust.” Loki said quickly as he held Ana close and raced as fast as he could away from Thor who stood his ground, searching the hallways before proceeding down the adjacent hallway.

Fiona and Tuomas raced behind Thor as fast as they could, the darkness shrouding them like a cloak. The open hallways that they ran through revealed the dozens of courtyards and gardens that decorated the golden realm. Fiona wished she could enjoy the floral vegetation longer, but Thor urged them on.  When Fiona slowed for about the tenth time, Tuomas took her hand and yanked her behind him.
“Where is your head?!” He asked angrily.
“I’m Seelie! Im drawn to flowers like you are to mortal girls.” She retorted stubbornly and Tuomas’s face turned a bright crimson against his normally white face. After a moment he growled at her and raced to catch up to Thor who’d gone much farther ahead.  Fiona bit her lip, attempting to restrain herself from going into the courtyards and dancing around.
“Come on!” Someone shouted ahead, their voice echoing softly in the enormous hallway. Fiona looked ahead and saw that Thor was holding a door open for them and urged her to run. Fiona ran through the door as fast as her legs would allow before she landed on her knees in the room. She straightened seconds later as she looked around.
They’d arrived in a lavishly furnished room that had golden arches and overstuffed sofas that ran the length of the room. A fantastic balcony window allowed the deep blue moonlight to shine inside, giving the room a rather eerie setting.
“You can retire here until I come for you again.” Thor said in his deep voice. Tuomas nodded and quickly strode over to a couch, removed some of the pillows, and then lied down on it with his hair spread around his face like a black halo. Fiona smiled,
“Thank you, Prince Thor.” She said politely. Thor only nodded.
“If anyone knocks do not answer; I’ve told the servants that they are not to come in unless I, myself allow them.”
With a curt nod he turned and left, shutting and locking the door behind him. Fiona bit her lip.
“Its too dark in here.” She said after they’d been submerged in silence for a long while (Or what seemed like a long while for Fiona).
“Just close your eyes.” Tuomas said, obviously tired.
“It’s cold.”
“Grab one of those blankets.”
In the darkness suddenly a blanket was tossed at her, making her scream. Once she’d recovered she could hear Tuomas chuckling from where he lied.
“Not funny!” She growled as she tossed a pillow at him.
“OW!” He growled before sitting up, his hair in a complete disarray.  Fiona giggled before a cold draft from the window sent goose bumps to cover her completely. The blanket that was given to her was much to thin for warmth. A moment later she laid on her side and curled up in a feeble position for warmth, but it didn’t work.
“It’s so cold.” She said again as her teeth chattered. Tuomas groaned before using his magic to appear beside her. Without a warning, to Fionas complete and utter delight, the siren prince put an arm around her and bade her to rest her head on his shoulder. Fiona smiled and closed her eyes, feeling much warmer.
But what she didn’t know, was that she was being watched.
I screwed up royally in the submission order :P Whoops.
